Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the bright forenoon, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
