The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the midmorning, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
