The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and the brooding night! 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
