Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
