Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 Have We not raised your remembrance? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
