The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the Fig and the Olive, 1 and by Mount Sinai, 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 We have indeed created man in the best of mould, 4 Then brought him down to the lowest of the low, 5 Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing. 6 What then shall cry thee lies as to the Doom? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest Judge upon all judges? 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
