The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
