Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
ALL THAT IS in the heavens and on earth extols God's limitless glory: for He alone is almighty, truly wise! 1 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, It is He Who gives life and causes death; and He is Able to do all things. 2 He is the first and He the last, the transcendent and the immanent; and He has knowledge of everything. 3 He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established Himself on the Throne. He knows all that enters the earth and all that comes forth from it, and all that comes down from the heaven and all that goes up to it. He is with you wherever you are. Allah sees all that you do. 4 His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and unto Allah will all affairs be brought back. 5 He causeth the night to pass into the day, and He causeth the day to pass into the night, and He is knower of all that is in the breasts. 6 Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend (in charity) of that which He has made you successors. Whosoever of you believes and spends shall have a mighty wage. 7 Why is it that you do not believe in Allah, when the Messenger calls on you to believe in your Lord, and He has made a covenant with you if you are believers? 8 He is the One Who sends to His Servant Manifest Signs, that He may lead you from the depths of Darkness into the Light and verily Allah is to you most kind and Merciful. 9 And what reason have you that you should not spend in Allah's way? And Allah's is the inheritance of the heavens and the earth, not alike among you are those who spent before the victory and fought (and those who did not): they are more exalted in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards; and Allah has promised good to all; and Allah is Aware of what you do. 10
