The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8
