The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
