Al-Zalzalah
The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
