Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
