Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
