The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
