Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
