۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
