Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
