The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
