The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
