The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
