The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The Calamity! 1 What is the crash? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
