The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 A flaming fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
