The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
