The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
