The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A burning fire. 11
