NAY, but consider the moon! 32 By the night when it departs. 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 Warn the men. 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
