The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A burning fire. 11
