The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the crash? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
