Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The craving for ever-greater worldly gains and to excel others in that regard keeps you occupied 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Nay! you shall soon know, 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things) 5 You will be shown hell 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8
