AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Moses. Behold, he was a chosen one, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet. 51 And We called to him from the blessed side of the mountain, and We made him draw nigh, holding communion (with Us). 52 Out of Our mercy We gave him his brother Aaron who himself was a Prophet. 53 Commemorate Ishmael in the Book. He was true of his promise, and a messenger, a prophet. 54 And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing. 55 And mention in the Book, Idris; he too was of the truth and a Prophet, 56 and We exalted him to a lofty position. 57 These are they whom God has blessed among the Prophets of the seed of Adam, and of those We bore with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel, and of those We guided and chose. When the signs of the All-merciful were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But then they were succeeded by generations who neglected their prayers and were driven by their own desires. They will assuredly meet with destruction, 59 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. These will enter Heaven, and they will not be wronged in the least. 60 Theirs shall be everlasting Gardens which the Most Compassionate Lord has promised His servants in a realm which is beyond the ken of perception. Surely His promise shall he fulfilled. 61 There they shall hear no idle talk, but only 'Peace.' There they shall have their provision at dawn and evening. 62 Such is the Paradise which We shall cause those of Our servants who have been God-fearing to inherit. 63 (The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,- 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them. Therefore worship Him, and be constant in His worship. Do you know any namesake of His? 65
