Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 until you come to the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8
