Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8
