The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 closed around them 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
