The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 It will engulf them. 8 in columns outstretched. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
