Al-Inshiqaaq
The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 and obeys its Lord as it must, 2 and when the earth is leveled, 3 and casts out what is within it and is emptied, 4 And obeys its Lord and it must. 5 O human, you are working hard towards your Lord and you will meet Him. 6 And as for him whose record shall be placed in his right hand, 7 he will in time be called to account with an easy accounting, 8 And will return to his people full of joy. 9 But as for him whose record shall be given to him behind his back; 10 He surely will invoke destruction 11 and will enter the Blazing Fire. 12 He verily lived joyous with his folk, 13 He verily deemed that he would never return (unto Allah). 14 Nay, but lo! his Lord is ever looking on him! 15 But nay! I swear by the sunset redness, 16 And by the night and that which it driveth together, 17 And the moon when at the full, 18 that you shall surely ride from stage to stage. 19 What, then, is amiss with them that they will not believe [in a life to come]? 20 And when the Quran is recited to them, they fall not prostrate, ۩ 21 Indeed, those who are bent on denying the truth reject it -- 22 But God knows what they harbour in their breasts. 23 So announce to them a painful torment. 24 except for those who believe and do good deeds. Theirs shall be an unending reward. 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
