Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7
