Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7
