Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth avails him not, neither what he has earned; 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck! 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
