Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame 3 And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Almighty God's Truth.
