Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me. 40 And believe in that which I have sent down confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and barter not My revelations for a small price, and Me alone shall ye fear. 41 Do not confound truth with falsehood, nor knowingly hide the truth while you know. 42 And keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 Find strength in fortitude and prayer, which is heavy and exacting but for those who are humble and meek, 45 Who know that they will have to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are returning. 46
