The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 the All-merciful, the All-compassionate, 3 the Master of the Day of Doom. 4 Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. 5 Guide us to the straight path: 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
