A 'araaf (Al-A 'araaf)
206 verses, revealed in Mecca after S (Saad) before Jinns (Al-Jinn)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 A Book revealed to you-- so let there be no straitness in your breast on account of it-- that you may warn thereby, and a reminder close to the believers. 2 (People), follow whatever is revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow other guardians besides Him. However, you pay very little attention (to Our words) 3 How many a village have We laid in ruin! In the night Our Might fell upon it, or at midday when they were drowsy. 4 Therefore they uttered nothing when Our punishment came to them, except that they said, “Indeed we were the unjust.” 5 So We shall question those unto whom a Message was sent, and We shall question the Envoys, 6 With knowledge We will narrate to them, for We are never absent. 7 And the weighing [of deeds] that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy - it is they who will be the successful. 8 but he whose scales are light those have lost their souls because they were harmful towards Our verses. 9 And certainly We have established you in the earth and made in it means of livelihood for you; little it is that you give thanks. 10

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
