We sent Noah to his people. He told them, "Worship God for He is your only Lord. I am afraid of the punishment that you might suffer on the great Day (of Judgment)". 59 The chiefs of his people said: Most surely we see you in clear error. 60 Said [Noah]: "O my people! There is no error in me, but I am an apostle from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 61 “Conveying to you the messages of my Lord and wishing good for you, and I know from Allah what you do not know.” 62 "Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder from your Lord through a man from amongst you, that he may warn you, so that you may fear Allah and that you may receive (His) Mercy?" 63 (But) they belied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who belied Our verses. Surely, they were a blind nation. 64
