Those who reject Our signs, We shall gradually visit with punishment, in ways they perceive not; 182 And I grant them respite; surely My scheme is effective. 183 Have they not bethought them (that) there is no madness in their comrade? He is but a plain warner. 184 Do they not consider the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever things Allah has created, and that may be their doom shall have drawn nigh; what announcement would they then believe in after this? 185 Whomsoever Allah sends astray, none can guide him; and He lets them wander blindly in their transgressions. 186 They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): "When will be its appointed time?" Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden." They ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (Alone) but most of mankind know not." 187 Say: For myself I have no power to benefit, nor power to hurt, save that which Allah willeth. Had I knowledge of the Unseen, I should have abundance of wealth, and adversity would not touch me. I am but a warner, and a bearer of good tidings unto folk who believe. 188
