The hypocrites and those whose hearts are sick, say, "The (believers') religion has deceived them." Those who trust in God will find Him Majestic and All-wise. 49 If thou couldst see, when the angels take the souls of the Unbelievers (at death), (How) they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the penalty of the blazing Fire- 50 "This is because of that which your hands had forwarded. And verily, Allah is not unjust to His slaves." 51 Their case is like that of Pharaoh's people, and of those before them, who denied the revelations of God, and were punished for their sins by God, and God is all powerful and Severe His punishment. 52 That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing. 53 Like the people of the Pharaoh and those who lived before them, (the unbelievers) rejected the revelations of God. We destroyed them for their sins and drowned the people of Pharaoh. They were all unjust. 54 Verily, the vilest creatures in the sight of God are those who are bent on denying the truth and therefore do not believe. 55 They are those with whom thou didst make a covenant, but they break their covenant every time, and they have not the fear (of Allah). 56 If ye gain the mastery over them in war, disperse, with them, those who follow them, that they may remember. 57 or, if thou hast reason to fear treachery from people [with whom thou hast made a covenant,] cast it back at them in an equitable manner: for, verily, God does not love the treacherous! 58
