We sent Moses with Our signs and full authority 96 Towards Firaun and his court members, thereupon they followed the commands of Firaun; and the work of Firaun was not proper. 97 He shall go before his people on the Day of Resurrection, and will have led them down to the Fire-evil the watering-place to be led down to! 98 A curse followed them in this world, and shall follow them on the Day of Resurrection. What a foul gift to be given! 99 These are some of the news of the (population of) towns which We relate unto you (O Muhammad SAW); of them, some are standing, and some have been (already) reaped. 100 We did not wrong them; they wronged themselves; the deities they called on besides God availed them nothing: when God's command came upon them, they only added to their ruin. 101 Such is the punishment of your Lord when He seizes the towns in the midst of their sins: His punishing grip is terrible and severe. 102 Verily herein is a sign unto him who feareth the torment of the Hereafter. That is a Day whereon mankind shall be gathered together, and that is a Day to be witnessed. 103 And We delay it only for a term (already) fixed. 104 When that Day comes, not a soul will speak, unless it be by His leave; and of those [that are gathered together,] some will be wretched and some, happy. 105 So as to those who are unhappy, they shall be in the fire; for them shall be sighing and groaning in it: 106 [They will be] abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will. Indeed, your Lord is an effecter of what He intends. 107 ۞ And as for those who will be glad (that day) they will be in the Garden, abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth: a gift unfailing. 108 So O listener (followers of this Prophet), do not fall into doubt by what these disbelievers worship; they only worship just as their forefathers worshipped before; and indeed we shall pay them their due in full, undiminished. 109
