111 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hood (Hood) before The Hijjr Valley (Al-Hijjr)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Alif. Lam. Ra'. These are the verses of a Book that clearly expounds the truth. 1 Verily We! We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, that haply ye may reflect. 2 We will relate to thee the fairest of stories in that We have revealed to thee this Koran, though before it thou wast one of the heedless. 3 Call to mind when Joseph said to his father: "My father! I saw (in a dream) eleven stars and the sun and the moon: I saw them prostrating themselves before me." 4 He said: O my son! recount not thine vision unto thy brethren, lest they plot a plot against thee; verily the Satan is unto man an enemy manifest. 5 “And this is how your Lord will choose you and teach you how to interpret events, and will perfect His favours upon you and upon the family of Yaqub, the way He perfected it upon both your forefathers, Ibrahim and Ishaq; indeed your Lord is All Knowing, Wise.” 6
