O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. 153 And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: dead. Nay, they are living, but ye perceive not. 154 We will surely put you to trial by involving you in fear and hunger and by causing loss of property, life and earnings. And give good tidings to those who remain steadfast in these trials: 155 Who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return":- 156 upon those rest blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those -- they are the truly guided. 157 ۞ Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. And if any one obeyeth his own impulse to good,- be sure that Allah is He Who recogniseth and knoweth. 158 Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse, 159 Except those who repent and amend and make manifest (the truth). These it is toward whom I relent. I am the Relenting, the Merciful. 160 Those who deny the truth, and die as deniers, on them shall be the curse of God and of angels and of men altogether. 161 Under it they shall remain forever; their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be granted respite. 162 Your Deity is Allah alone: there is no deity save the All-Beneficent and All-Merciful Allah. 163
