And how many signs exist in the heavens and the earth, over which most people pass and remain unaware of them! 105 And most of them believe not in Allah except that they attribute partners (unto Him). 106 Do they feel secure that the all-encompassing punishment of God will not come upon them, or that the Last Hour will not come upon them suddenly when they least expect it? 107 Say: "My way, and that of my followers, is to call you to God with full perception. All glory to God, I am not an idolater." 108 And We have not sent before you but men from (among) the people of the towns, to whom We sent revelations. Have they not then travelled in the land and seen what was the end of those before them? And certainly the abode of the hereafter is best for those who guard (against evil); do you not then understand? 109 [They continued] until, when the messengers despaired and were certain that they had been denied, there came to them Our victory, and whoever We willed was saved. And Our punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals. 110 In their story, there is a lesson for the people of understanding. It is not a legend but a confirmation of what exists (in the Torah). It (the Quran) has details about everything. It is a guide and mercy for those who have faith. 111
