And deem not Allah negligent of that which the wrong-doers work: He only deferreth them to a Day whereon the sight shall remain staring. 42 when they shall run with their necks outstretched and heads erect, their glances never return to themselves, their hearts are empty. 43 Warn mankind of the Day when the punishment will overtake them, when the evildoers will say: 'Our Lord, grant us respite for awhile, we will answer Your call, and follow the Messengers' Did you not once swear that you would never cease? 44 "And you dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged themselves, and it was clear to you how We had dealt with them. And We put forth (many) parables for you." 45 And indeed they carried out their scheme, and their scheming is within Allah’s control; and their scheme was not such that could move these mountains*. (* The revelations / signs of Allah.) 46 You must not even think that God will disregard His promise to His messengers. God is Majestic and Revengeful. 47 On the Day when the earth shall be changed into another earth, as shall be the heavens, they will all appear before God, the One, the Most Supreme. 48 you will see the guilty ones bound in chains, 49 with garments of pitch and faces covered by fire. 50 This is how God will recompense each soul for its deeds. God's reckoning is swift. 51 THIS IS A MESSAGE unto all mankind. Hence, let them be warned thereby, and let them know that He is the One and Only God; and let those who are endowed with insight take this to heart! 52
